This is not your average deli. Located in downtown Providence, Bodega on Smith (BOS) prides itself on gourmet sandwiches, craft cocktails, a vegan friendly menu and welcomes all with open-arms. “Bodegas were places where friends and neighbors would meet up to socialize.”. When the sun sets, the deli turns into one of the city’s only speakeasies through its hidden deli entrance, where guests can enjoy an Instagram worthy craft cocktail, live entertainment, dinner and new experiences. Inspired by the cultural and community connection, Bodega at Night fuses todays modern bar and lounge scene with the historical charm and culture that created many beloved neighborhood bodegas.

Located in the century-old Pilgrim Mill’s Building in Providence, the Mill’s Tavern dining room has rustic brick walls, polished dark woods, vaulted casement ceilings and linen tablecloths that work together to impart a sophisticated yet cozy ambiance.  Chef Edward Bolus delivers an impressive menu that combines local and seasonal ingredients in innovative and exciting new ways.  A wood-burning oven—used in much of the cooking–glows cheerily from an open kitchen, where the bustle of busy chefs and food servers lends an energetic vibe.

Diners in the know will tell you that Angelo's is one of the most genuine restaurants in the state, and one of the most convenient. At the foot of Federal Hill, just a few minutes walk from the Dunkin Donuts Center, the Rhode Island Convention Center, Trinity Rep, and PPAC, Angelo's is a sure bet for a pre-show or pre-game lunch or dinner. With a menu full of fresh vegetables, fresh pasta, and fine meats, there is something for everyone at Angelo's. Whether reading over the menu at the table, or up on the menu board posted in the center of the dining room, diners will have a difficult time choosing between Italian staples such as spaghetti and meatballs, ravioli, homemade macaroni, veal and peppers, and old fashioned Italian pastine soup.

Cafe Italia at 228 Atwells Avenue is the brainchild of the owners of the restaurant Ours, Saja Barwary and his wife, Italia, which is located across the street. “Yes, it’s my name, but it’s also the vibe on Federal Hill,” laughed Italia (Sousa) Barwary. Cafe Italia fills what they saw as a need on the Hill  for breakfast and lunch, as well as late-night bites and cocktails, and really, really good coffee.  It’s the decor, however, that has really drawn the attention of patrons who have visited Cafe Italia — especially the murals on the ceiling. It’s Greek goddess-inspired, with light purple hues and pinks, and chandeliers. “We’ve even got a little photo op section for  girls to take photos. Every angle is Instagram friendly.” 

Satisfy your hunger at Public Kitchen and Bar, the hotel restaurant at Renaissance Providence Downtown Hotel, offering a wide selection of American cuisine. 

Throughout the space of Public, a modernist sensibility is blended with a classic American, Newport mansion drawing room theme. It’s design is inspired by the existing architecture of the Masonic Temple and it’s Rhode Island Capital Statehouse neighbor. Public’s masculine and warm setting will be a meeting place for hipsters and Senators alike. 

Bluefin Grille offers a uniquely casual approach to fine dining. Upscale décor and exceptional service meets high-end yet affordable food. The specialty here is locally sourced seafood. In addition to masterfully prepared littlenecks, tuna, salmon, shrimp and scallops, the menu also includes choice cuts of steak, pork and chicken. A romantic dinner can be had in an intimate corner while burgers and beers can be enjoyed with friends at the lounge. The Chef’s Table Series gives guests an exclusive opportunity to have a designated chef cook a few of the five courses offered table-side. The interactive signature event, which can accommodate up to ten guests with an advanced reservation, expertly pairs wine with each course.

We are the originator of the famous "Wimpy Skippy", a spinach pie stuffed with mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, and black olives. Also try our "Pig in a Blanket", made with sweet Italian sausage and tomato sauce rolled in dough.
